DIGITAL MARKETING FOR HOSPITALITY

ABOUT

This course is aimed at anyone working in hospitality setting who has responsibility for social media and digital marketing.

The OCN Level 2 Award in Digital Marketing will develop knowledge and skills in the use of internet and communications technologies for marketing activities, including search engine optimisation and the use of mobile and internet technologies for marketing applications to maximise customer engagement and increase revenue.

A hospitality business will gain an employee skilled in enhancing online visibility, engaging customers via social media and mobile marketing, creating targeted strategies for specific customer groups, and using cost-effective tools to improve digital presence, ultimately driving stronger customer relationships, competitive adaptability, and modern marketing capabilities in-house.

To achieve the qualification a workbook for each unit will be completed. Learners will cover four units:

  • Search Engine Optimisation
  • Using Mobile Technologies to Market Products and Services
  • Using Social Media to Market Products and Services
  • Using Technology to Develop Online Interaction with Customers


WHEN

The course will be delivered over 6 online classes from 9.30am to 1pm every Wednesday morning commencing 19th February 2025 to 26th March 2025 and further one to one short tutorial and presentation sessions scheduled individually on a Wednesday morning weekly to 14th May 2025

Please note there will be no class on Easter week as the college is closed for half term break.
