PRINCIPLES OF CUSTOMER SERVICE

 

 

ABOUT

This course is aimed at helping staff working in the hospitality sector develop excellent customer service skills and will help the participant develop understanding in:

  • Different customer types
  • The Benefits of providing excellent customer service
  • Understanding the customer needs, wants and expectations
  • How to make a good impression
  • How to communicate with the customer
  • Managing complaints


WHEN

The City & Guilds Level 2 Award in Principles of Customer Service is open for applications from January until the end of March 2025, and courses are delivered on Mondays. The course can be split into two half day/evening sessions or one full day session.

Businesses may apply for a bespoke course for their team, or nominate individuals to attend a course. Courses can be delivered either in-premises or on campus at Belfast MET. This course is part funded by Skills Focus and only requires a small employer contribution of £10 per person. Eligibility criteria applies.
