WHO

Ashley Douglas has extensive experience within the hospitality industry. 

Having worked for global corporate companies such as Diageo, Red Bull and Bacardi Brown-Forman Brands he has refined his passion for Hospitality and developed F and B training programmes which not only educate bartenders but help ignite a passion and enthusiasm for the industry.  He has trained hundreds of bartenders, waiters and managers in a variety of hotels, restaurants, nightclubs and public bars.

As a consultant to the licensed trade Ashley also helps bar owners develop their food and beverage offering by delivering be-spoke staff training and improving guest service within outlet.  He manages his own Tiki Cocktail bar in Portrush and delivers various bartender training courses throughout N. Ireland and the Republic of Ireland.  He is a part time lecturer at Belfast Met and the Northern Regional College and delivers an NVQ level 2 and 3 in professional bartending as well as OCN Qualifications in Mixology and can also offer a Level 2 in Principle in Customer service. 

Ashley has a proven track record of helping to develop successful teams who not only understand the importance of upselling and maximising Gross Profit Margins but are also excited and enthusiastic about serving their guests to the best of their ability.
