What is the HU Academy?

Hospitality Ulster brings you the new and improved HU Academy Online Training Platform, a dynamic learning experience powered by MapalOne as part of your Hospitality Ulster membership at no additional cost*.

The platform is a state-of-the-art employee-facing accredited online training system giving access to more than 40 courses for your staff, all fully compliant with industry standards and legislation.

Courses include compliance training such as Food Hygiene, Health & Safety and many others. The training is delivered on your own online platform, managed by you, in an engaging environment suited to different learning styles and business sizes.

You can access the HU Academy on desktop, tablet or mobile using the MapalOne app — learn as you go.

*Level 1 — No additional cost: HU Members with fewer than 100 staff can access the extensive course range and online management suite at no additional cost. A managed service is also available if required.

Level 2 — Exclusive 20% discount: HU Members with more than 100 staff can access the full course range plus enhanced management tools, integrations and the ability to create custom content, with an exclusive 20% discount on the normal licence fee.
