HOSPITALITY EMPLOYERS - DO YOU HAVE JOB VACANCIES TO FILL

GET INTO HOSPITALITY

Hospitality Ulster is partnering with Belfast MET to run two new and exciting courses aimed at attracting and upskilling potential new employees for the Hospitality Industry; Get into Bartending & Get into Food Service. The initial pilot courses will be in Belfast, with plans to roll these out across the province in partnership with the regional college network.

As part of this initiative, a limited number of employers with job vacancies will be given the chance to pitch the opportunities offered by their individual companies. Interested?

WHAT IS GET INTO HOSPITALITY?

The Get into Hospitality Programme offers participants FREE 2-day courses aimed at anyone seeking a part-time or full-time career in Hospitality.

This pilot programme has been developed by Belfast Met in partnership with Hospitality Ulster. It will be delivered in-industry, by industry experts, and is fully funded by the Department for the Economy’s Skill Up programme.

The courses will cover key introductory skill areas:

  • Get into Bartending
    or
  • Get into Food Service

The participants will gain a Level 2 qualification City & Guilds Level 2 Principles of Customer Service and gain skills aligned with two accredited modules featured on the FLOW Hospitality Training Platform.

HOW CAN EMPLOYERS GET INVOLVED?

Employers MUST have job vacancies in bartending or foodservice.

We are inviting employers with job vacancies to meet with the participants and share job opportunities within your business, and to highlight the benefits of a career in hospitality.

At the end of each day (4:30PM), participating employers will have a short slot to pitch the vacancies and opportunities that exist within their company. Course dates are detailed below, employer places are limited and will be allocated on a first come, first served basis.
