SIGN UP TO A PLEA TO UK GOV AND COMPLETE VERY SHORT ENERGY SURVEY

Thank you for all your feedback over the summer on the impact of energy prices, we are very clear on the devastating impact these increases are having on hospitality.

Along with our sister organisation UK Hospitality, we have been making representations to Government since January on this issue and continue to communicate the impact and solutions. As you’ll be aware there has been stasis in Government over the summer and it has been incredibly difficult to make progress – but meetings have been secured with the two candidates to discuss the level of support the sector needs.
As part of this engagement we have submitted a letter to the Chancellor and the Business Secretary. We now want to show the strength of feeling across the sector and have drafted this letter (CLICK HERE) for businesses to sign. To provide us with additional data on the impact of the increase in energy prices we have also compiled a very short survey (5 minutes max) and it would be great if you were able to complete this (CLICK HERE). If you are willing to supply a case study with your individual circumstances then please email enquiries@hospitalityulster.org indicating whether you are happy to use it with a name attached or anonymously – information that would be helpful is the level of energy increase and any business decisions you are making as a result.
We will be closing the survey and the sign-up mechanism at midday on Monday 5th September so please respond ahead of that if you wish to be involved.
