HOSPITALITY BUSINESS SURVEY - YOUR INPUT MAKES THE DIFFERENCE

HU is continuing to work with our GB counterparts and with UK Government to set out the challenges that hospitality is facing.
As part of this it has become clear that we need to collect additional data to feed into the Government machine if we are to deliver positive change of the sector.
We are clearly in turbulent times. Input prices are soaring, driven by energy costs, staff vacancies are at record levels and consumer confidence is declining. It is imperative that we communicate this clearly to Government so that we can get the right levels of support.
The survey results will also feed into the work being undertaken through the Hospitality Sector Council and the Tourism Industry Council that are proactively looking for solutions to put to Government.
With the Queen’s Speech this month outlining Government’s agenda for the forthcoming session we now have the opportunity to make a real difference to the trading environment and this survey will help us to make that case.
