Ahead of the UK Autumn Budget, Hospitality Ulster is joining with our sister organisation UK Hospitality and partners in GB to make representations on the reform of business rates – with the objective of lowering costs for hospitality businesses.
As part of the project, the Centre of Economic and Business Research (CEBR), a leading economic forecasting and analysis consultancy, has been commissioned to undertake some further economic modelling which will help strengthen our position.
To help facilitate the forecasting, CEBR has developed a brief set of questions identify the costs and impacts that the current rates system is having on our sector. As with previous industry surveys, CGA have agreed to collate the results and all data will be anonymised and treated in strict confidence.
Please could we ask that you complete the survey by Friday 13th August.
The project is based on hospitality venues. Your participation in the survey will help us to provide key supporting evidence to Government for the need to change the system and support our sector at this critical time.
