PETE SNODDEN TO LEAD HU CARNIVAL AS EVENT HOST ALSO CONFIRMS SPECIAL GUEST DJ SET

Cool FM breakfast show host Pete Snodden will lead the Carnival on Tuesday 16th January, as the acclaimed presenter and live DJ takes on hosting duties, as well as a special guest appearance behind the decks at Northern Ireland's biggest and best hospitality industry party.

Perhaps most instantly recognisable as the voice of Northern Ireland's mornings alongside Paulo and Rebecca on Cool FM's 'Pete Snodden in the Morning', the Bangor native is also an accomplished DJ; having held residencies, pumped up live crowds and filled dance floors at iconic venues, large scale gigs and festivals across Northern Ireland and beyond.

Whether he's warming up the crowd for former US President Barack Obama (true story!), broadcasting live from the Red Carpet at the MTV European Music Awards, taking to the stage in another packed venue or interviewing Noel Gallagher, Rory McIlroy or Alicia Keys... Ireland's best Shania Twain tribute Mairead Rooney has been wowing audiences with her Tribute show to the Queen of Country Rock for 10 years, with costumes from Shania’s iconic looks and a vocal tone and style as close to Shania’s as is possible.

Mairead will have you singing along to all your favourite Shania Twain hits including “I’m gonna Getcha good” “That don’t impress me much” “Still the One” and of course the absolute classic “Man! I feel like a woman” when she takes to the stage in Limelight 2 for HU Carnival.
