Whilst the Northern Ireland hospitality industry still awaits a reopening date for restaurants and pubs, Hospitality Ulster is at an advanced stage in developing the vital tools and information needed to prepare for reopening.
This means that when the time eventually comes, you will have as much resource as possible at your disposal.
HU ACADEMY RETURN TO WORK MODULES
Hospitality Ulster's state of the art training platform HU Academy, powered by Flow Hospitality Training, has issued a range of new modules with a specific focus on helping business owners and staff prepare for eventual reopening.
The new modules cover a range of relevant topics:
- Preparing to reopen
- Staff protection
- Cleaning and hygiene
- Social distancing
- Customer service
- Takeaways and deliveries
Existing HU Academy users will receive a notification upon their next login with the option to add these modules to the platform at no extra cost*.

COVID-19 SECURE ADVICE AND RISK ASSESSMENT FOR HOSPITALITY BUSINESSES- DRAFT 2
Working in partnership with our sister organisation UK Hospitality (UKH) and the NI Hotels Federation (NIHF), we are developing extensive advice and risk assessment for operating under COVID-19.
This document is now at an advanced stage and the second draft is available to download below- however please note that this is still a working document with content to be added before it is presented to Government for input / feedback.
