Bill Wolsey: MD, Beannchor Group

MD of the Beannchor Group- owners of the five-AA-red-star Merchant Hotel, over 40 pubs, the popular Little Wing Pizzeria chain of restaurants and Bullitt Hotel.

Originally from Ballysillan, North Belfast, Bill opened his first bar in Bangor almost 40 years ago. Today, the Beannchor Group is one of Northern Ireland’s largest employers in the hospitality industry, with over 750 employees.

 

Joris Minne: Restaurant Critic, Belfast Telegraph

Joris has been writing a weekly food column for the Belfast Telegraph since 2008 and is a regular commentator, presenter and events host. He is a member of the Academy of Judges of the Restaurants Association of Ireland and chairs the Irish Curry Awards (Ulster) judging panel.

Joris is a Chartered PR practitioner who trained at the National Geographic Society as a journalist in Washington DC. After a successful 10-year career in business journalism in London and Madrid, he returned to Northern Ireland to join the PR industry. He won Best Campaign in Northern Ireland at The Public Affairs Awards 2016.

 

Paula McIntyre: Celebrity Chef

Paula has accumulated a list of personal awards, restaurant accolades, television/ magazine/newspaper/radio appearances and books far too long to profile here. She also lectures in catering at Northern Regional college to great success.

Paula is passionate about Northern Irish produce both home and abroad, and has showcased NI food at the House of Commons and European Parliament.

 

James Wilson: Research Analyst, Mintel Ireland

James researches and writes in the retail, leisure and food and drink sectors for Mintel’s Irish series of reports. His specialist areas include all things technology with a focus on how social media is influencing consumer shopping habits, tourism and the foodservice industry across Ireland. He has featured in radio interviews, including BBC Radio Ulster, thought pieces with the Marketing Institute of Ireland and national publications such as The Times.
