With many hospitality business owners relaying on heating oil to heat their premises and homes. Hospitality Ulster has established a buying group to use the combined buying power of members to secure the best possible price.

The scheme (as detailed below) will initially run as a pilot until 24th December 2022, with continued viability based on uptake by enough members in each region to make it sustainable.

HU members may also use the scheme for their employees.

1. Price Guarantee

  • The discounted price tracks the wholesale market buying price and therefore varies on a day-to-day basis
  • If the price drops between order and delivery, the lower price will be charged, and a refund or credit will be given
  • If the price rises after an order is placed, you will NOT be charged any increase

2. Payment

  • Payment with the order is required

3. Delivery Date Agreed at Time of Order

  • Please note orders will be delivered as soon as possible, but delivery dates will vary depending on number of deliveries in each area
  • Maximum waiting time from order to delivery- two weeks unless agreed at time of order

4. Purchases and deliveries can be made for business premises and homes

  1. Membership of HU is required
Orders will be cross referenced with HU database.
  2. Members can also operate a staff buying group within their business.
Staff cannot order themselves! This can be used to help staff retention as they will be excluded from the scheme if they leave the HU member's business.
If you wish to operate your own staff group, oil can be delivered to the individual domestic address, but you must make a single payment when ordering and take responsibility to recoup the monies from your staff.
  3. If a business / person falsely claims HU membership, the supplier will retrospectively charge the business / person the value of the discount.
  4. If a business leaves HU membership, the supplier will remove them from the discount scheme and not offer the HU discount or equivalent discounts on any future orders.
  5. Hospitality Ulster reserves the right to change the supplier (subject to contract) without notifying individual HU members using the scheme.
  6. Hospitality Ulster is operating solely as an introducer and does not receive payment from any purchases.
  7. Responsibility for sales and deliveries rest with the supplier.
  8. Hospitality Ulster does not accept any responsibility for loss or damage however caused.
  9. All participants agree to the terms and conditions.
