IMPORTANT - HU CARNIVAL EVENT GUIDE

Thank you for securing your tickets for the big night via Eventbrite. These will already have been issued to you as digital tickets.
Please make sure you have all tickets ready for scanning at the door. The night is completely SOLD OUT. There will be no admission without a valid ticket, and no tickets on the door. The night is strictly 18+ as advertised, and you may be asked for ID from security staff to gain entry.
Ensure you get in! As with any late-night venue, Limelight reserves the right to refuse entry based on their door policy.
You do not need to print your ticket. They can be scanned directly from your phone screen.
Each guest will be issued with one food token per ticket to claim one portion of food from our street food vendors located outside (7:00pm – 9:00pm). Food vendors will NOT be accepting payment for additional food due to capacity and expected demand.
Security staff will be managing capacity in each room throughout the night, in addition to the demand for food outside. Access to each room, as well as the food vendors, will be at their discretion based on the number of people there.

There is no strict dress code for the night. HU Carnival is an informal event, but for anyone unsure, smart casual is best.

Make sure you arrive early! The party will be in full swing from 7:00pm, and food will be served from 7:00pm-9:00pm immediately outside the Limelight (food can be claimed with your food token, issued at the door).
The Premier League trophy will be on display for photo opportunities between 7:00pm and 10:00pm. The iconic trophy is the genuine article, and you are welcome to get up close and take photos with it, but please do not touch. Trophy access is at the discretion of the Premier League’s security team.
Legendary former Premier League and England goalkeeper David James will be in attendance from 7:00pm – 10:00pm, and he will be happy to chat and take photos.

The Carnival will take place throughout all areas of the Limelight complex, and you are free to move around (subject to capacity in each room).
Dublin DJ/instrumental act Riff Shop and special guest host/DJ Pete Snodden will be taking to the stage in Limelight 1 alongside house DJs playing high tempo party anthems.
Over in Limelight 2, Ireland’s best Shania Twain tribute Mairead Rooney and international ABBA tribute The Bjorn Identity will take to the stage as headliners, alongside house DJs playing anthems and classics.
In Limelight Lounge, guitarist/singer Kev Bartlett will bring the tempo down (slightly) alongside house DJs playing ambient music for you to relax and chat.
Carnival sideshows, dancers and entertainers will appear on stage and throughout the venue all night, thrilling guests with everything from sword swallowing to fire breathing!
There will also be a face painting station (free of charge) and roving magician Caolan McBride will be there to dazzle and amaze.
The venue also has two outdoor areas, The Rock Garden (upstairs) and Little Rock where you can grab a breath of fresh air and enjoy your food and drinks.
There will be pyro and special effects in use in both Limelight 1 and Limelight 2 throughout the night.
Please be aware that there will be strobing/flashing lighting in use throughout the venue.

HU Carnival begins at 7:00pm and finishes at 2:00am sharp. The venue will close at this time, no exceptions.
HU partner Value Cabs will be operating a taxi rank outside from 12:30am – 2:30am.
Taxi availability is subject to demand. First come, first served.
As it is a residential area, please have consideration for local residents when arriving and leaving, and when outside at the food vendor area.
