NI EXECUTIVE £10K & £25K GRANTS
Hospitality Ulster continues to push for outstanding grants to be paid urgently, with daily engagement with both the Departments of Finance and Economy.
NOTE: Both grant applications close Wednesday 20th May 2020. If you have not done so please make an application now!
New guidance is available that outlines how holiday entitlement and pay operate during the Coronavirus pandemic and how it differs from normal.

CORONAVIRUS JOB RETENTION SCHEME (CJRS)
The UK Government’s Coronavirus Job Retention Scheme will remain open until the end of October, but percentage of support may be reduced.
Hospitality Ulster continues to lobby for the CJRS to remain in place for hospitality at 80% beyond October.

OUTDOOR SPACES
Hospitality Ulster Chief Executive Colin Neill is calling for flexibility from Government and Councils, as he calls for outdoor space to be given over to hospitality businesses to help make them sustainable under social distancing measures.
CHAMPAGNE ACADEMY MAGNUM RAFFLE
The Champagne Academy are holding a charity raffle for one of sixteen magnums of Grandes Marques NV, with all proceeds going to the Drinks Trust- the body formerly known as The Benevolent, who provide care and support to people who form the drinks industry workforce.
