Leading tourism and hospitality bodies join chorus backing Hospitality Ulster position on wider liquor licensing reform ahead of British Open
The Institute of Hospitality (IoH) and the Northern Ireland Tourism Alliance (NITA) have joined the growing campaign led by Hospitality Ulster to push the Department for Communities for urgent reform of liquor licensing due to the negative impact it is having on tourism and the hospitality sector here.
Hospitality Ulster and Retail NI have both welcomed the announcement by the Department of Finance that a comprehensive review of business rates is to be held. The Department of Finance's Permanent Secretary, Sue Gray, made the announcement today at the Retail NI-DWF Local Government conference at Titanic Belfast.
