Protecting the welfare of your staff with free practical, emotional and financial help- provided by the industry charity 'The Benevolent'.
Free and confidential helpline, providing access to a professional counsellor seven days a week between the hours of 8am and 8pm.
Hospitality Ulster is proud to work with the Benevolent- the trade charity for people who are currently working, or have worked, in the UK drinks industry in any role and in any trade sector.
The Benevolent is the only charity that supports employees, or former employees, from every area of the UK drinks industry providing practical, emotional and financial help. The charity supports our colleagues facing a variety of difficult circumstances, including serious illness, disability, issues with stress or depression, with debt or any family crisis such as a seriously ill partner or child.
#NotAlone aims to encourage members of the Trade to speak freely about mental health issues within the workplace, creating a stigma-free environment, reminding both employers and employees that The Benevolent is here with professionals at hand who can help you.
Responding to the Coach Nightclub drinks promotion, Colin Neill, Chief Executive of Hospitality Ulster said:
“Irresponsible promotions have no place in our industry and we condemn them outright. We believe the imagery associated with this promotion is unacceptable and have referred it to the Independent Complaints Panel for the industry’s Responsible Retailing Code.
