The Chief Executive of Manufacturing NI, Stephen Kelly, has warned that suggested changes to Northern Ireland’s licensing laws, fail to support local producers.
Hospitality Ulster has long campaigned for changes to Northern Ireland’s licensing laws on behalf of the hospitality industry. The evidence of the benefit that reforming our licensing laws would bring are obvious and multiple and we have consistently made the case of the economic impacts for Northern Ireland.
Hospitality Ulster welcomes emerging political support against ‘special event’ liquor licensing treatment for the British Open
Colin Neill, Chief Executive of Hospitality Ulster has welcomed the support from the SDLP on their position to ensure that outdated liquor licensing is addressed and that the narrow consultation from the Department for Communities, proposing a special events license for one off events, is scrapped.
The National Minimum Wage and National Living Wage increased in the UK on the 1st April.
