Northern Ireland's premier food, drink, retail and hospitality event returns to the Titanic Exhibition Centre from 24-26 March 2020, and promises to be even bigger and better than ever!
Brand new to IFEX Salon Culinaire for 2020 is the World Skills NI Hospitality Skills Hub. This new area has been developed to celebrate, nurture and rediscover skills that have not been given a platform at IFEX for many years and these skills are paramount for the development of our sector and the retention of our existing workforce. Various opportunities within our sector will be showcased such as training, employment and higher education options and a wide range of skills shall be demonstrated over the three days of the show. You can expect to see:

An exciting new arts initiative has just been unveiled that will bring Ireland’s biggest community festival together with the cream of local business.
Hospitality Ulster - the organisation which has developed from Pubs of Ulster representing pubs, restaurants and hotels - has said that the hospitality sector in Northern Ireland has the potential to create up to 5,000 new jobs in the next 10 years.
You may be aware that in June last year DEL published a new strategy for apprenticeships.
Pubs of Ulster has secured a series of workshops with Land and Property Services (LPS), in order for licensees to question senior LPS personnel about the recent revaluation of business rates for the hospitality sector.
