NIs own Watergate could be fatal blow for struggling industry

Speaking on the BBC Good Morning Ulster programme this morning (30th December) Pubs of Ulster Chief Executive Colin Neill called for action rather than words in the water crisis, suggesting that additional water engineers be drafted in from GB to speed up the repair process. He also called for financial support through a rates holiday for the industry, which is unique in the retail sector as it doesnt get a second chance to sell goods and services. This is the latest crisis to hit the industry in a matter of weeks and it will cost jobs if the NI Executive doesnt act swiftly. The revenue lost will not be regained and its this revenue the industry uses to pay its bills during January and February, bills such as rates!
