Special Olympics Ulster Polar Plunge 2011

27 January 2011

Special Olympics Ulster is organising a unique fundraising event, to be held in the grounds of Belfast City Hall on Friday 4 and Saturday 5 March 2011.

Details Its a 24-hour Polar Plunge; an endurance test unlike any other. Basically, were asking a core team of fifty people to jump into a pool of ice-cold water once every hour for an entire day at the tail-end of winter! For that privilege, these kind souls have to raise loads of money for Special Olympics. In addition, we are asking Belfast bars to raise 500 to sacrifice one member of staff preferably the manager! to do a one-off plunge at some stage during the 24 hours. Special Olympics is a great organisation. Our athletes are worth supporting. So lets get Freezin for a Reason! Get involved in our Polar Plunge' and help us to keep Changing Lives!
