Pubs of Ulster at Stormont

On the 14th October Pubs of Ulster, along with member and publican Eugene Cassidy (of Cassidy's Bar, North Belfast) gave evidence at a meeting of the Social Development Committee at Stormont.

They were presented with the opportunity to convey points from Pubs of Ulster's position papers on the Licensing & Registration of Clubs, and Irresponsible Promotions Legislation. These important points which are affecting, and will affect the Licensed Trade, were strengthened with a voice of first hand experience in Mr. Cassidy. Over the coming days we will post exclusive insights into the evidence session, including details of what Pubs of Ulster are fighting for on behalf of the Publicans, and the reaction and support that the organisation has recieved as a result.
