LDerry Premises without Entertainment Licence

It has come to the attention of Pubs of Ulster that a high number of premises in L/Derry are holding events without the required Entertainment Licence.

This is an illegal activity, whether the premises holds a liquor licence or not. Pubs of Ulster is keen to promote equality of enforcement regardless of the type of premises, and is aware of tight regulation already in place for Pubs in the area. The same does not exist for other types of premises. Pubs of Ulster will be closely monitoring the situation, and is currently seeking action with Derry City Council and Police in the City.
