Brian Dowling to launch the 2010 Coca-Cola Christmas Designated Driver Campaign

Coca-Cola HBC Ireland announces the return of the award-winning Designated Driver Christmas Campaign, which will go live in all participating licensed trade premises on Monday 29th November.

The campaign, which runs for the entire month of December, offers designated drivers FREE soft drinks, juice and bottled water over the course of the festive season. A full list of participating licensed premises is available on www.designated-driver.co.uk. Ultimate Big Brother Winner Brian Dowling will launch the campaign in Dublin and Belfast on Tuesday 30th November reminding consumers that if they are the Designated Driver, to make sure their soft drinks are on the house this Christmas! This year the campaign includes an integrated digital campaign featuring a brand new Facebook page and a free to download iphone app which will allow consumers on the go to find the nearest participating premises. Brian Maher, National Account Manager Licensed Trade, Coca Cola HBC Ireland said these digital additions will add a new dimension to the campaign. �This year, the digital aspect to the campaign will encourage even more designated drivers to avail of complimentary beverages from the Coca Cola range, in participating licensed premises. Consumers will be able to find the nearest participating premises by downloading the new iphone app for free from our web site, www.designated-driver.co.uk. The campaign first launched in 2004 and has grown substantially in scale and profile.
