Online With The Academy

LAUNCHING AUTUMN 2016

Our Online Academy brings you access to a world of nationally recognised qualifications, tips of the trade, training videos, plus useful everyday tools like wine pairing, industry news and career opportunities. All in one handy iOS / Android App, and accessible at a time and place that suits your lifestyle.

The Hospitality Ulster Online Academy is not just the future, it’s your future in the palm of your hand. Don’t worry, if you prefer you can also access the Online Academy from your laptop or desktop as well.

With more than 40 nationally recognised training courses and qualifications (including NVQ levels 1 to 4), backed by more than 200 professional training videos, covering everything from bar, to kitchen and front of house. Our Online Academy offers courses with online assessment (no trainer required), or as part of a training programme backed by professional trainers across the province. What’s more, everyone can earn their own personal Acclaim Digital Badges which demonstrate the knowledge and skills you’ve acquired in your chosen field, even if you don’t have a formal qualification.

With a dedicated Business Academy Profile, you can manage and monitor the progress of staff as they undertake induction training, courses or qualifications, plus advertise job vacancies across the public network. You can even add your own training content, like bespoke induction training. Also, with your own Personal Academy Profile you can track your progress as you work your way through your chosen training modules, showcase your online CV including references, employment history, education history, photos and videos. You can also check out the latest job opportunities.

So keep up to-date with the latest knowledge, skills and opportunities. And even more importantly, keep up to date with your future!
